• Project: Harrods Candy Factory
  • Commissioned by: Harrods of London
  • Purpose: Christmas Food Hall P.O.S and Packaging.
  • Brief: My design for the Christmas Candy Factory illustration was loosely based on the shape of the Harrods building itself. I wanted to bring the building to life, so I decided to characterise the factory as a giant Christmas robot. Splitting the building into levels allowed me to show the various rooms and mechanical areas of the workshop and it was fun to illustrate the interaction between the Elves, as they work on creating the various Christmas sweets. The theme was used and expanded on many other of the Harrods Christmas packaging and products. Other bespoke designs for the range included giant Gingerbread men, Christmas Tree packaging and a Father Christmas shaped wobble tin!
